DEVELOPMENT OF THE MEETING
 
In the XV APPLIED ECONOMICS MEETING, two different types of working sessions will take place. First, the specialized sessions where the selected scientific papers of each thematic area will be debated. Secondly, the plenary sessions, which will summon all the participants to the specific programmed conferences.
 
OTHER FACTS ABOUT THE MEETING
 
The meeting is open to the participation of the international scientific community as the official languages are English and Spanish. The written communications submitted in English may be assigned to a session in which it is the working language. The organization of the meeting encourages participants to present and defend their work in English.
   
 
In this edition, Applied Economics will publish a Special issue with a selection of the best papers presented at the Meeting whose Guest Editors will be Emma Iglesias (University of A Coruña) and Josep Lluis Carrión-i-Silvestre (University of Barcelona). More details are given in the “call for papers” for the special issue.
   
 
Also, the Asociación Libre de Economía announces a prize for young researchers endowed with 1.500 €, which will be designated from among the papers accepted and presented at the meeting that, previously, have been nominated for an award under the conditions set out in the website Meeting.
